Who is responsible

Ezako publishes SalesGecko and decides how the data described here is handled. For anything on this page, write to contact@salesgecko.com.

This website

salesgecko.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds nothing from a third party and ships no JavaScript. Reading these pages leaves no trace of you in a tracker, because there is no tracker to leave it in.

The server keeps short-lived technical logs of the requests it answers. They exist to keep the site running and secure, and they are used for nothing else.

The application

Creating an account gives us your name, your professional email address and the company you sell for. Working in SalesGecko adds the records you enter: contacts, deals, notes and the actions you complete.

That data serves three purposes: running the service you signed up for, counting your daily actions and placing your team on the leaderboard, and proposing the next action worth taking.

The legal basis is the contract between us for everything the service needs to work, and our legitimate interest in improving the product for the aggregate, anonymous statistics behind the leaderboard.

What we never do

Your records are not sold, rented or handed to an advertising network. They are not used to train a model that serves anyone other than you.

The leaderboard shows how teams compare on activity volume. It never exposes the content of another company's pipeline.

Who else touches it

A small number of providers act on our instructions: hosting, transactional email, and the infrastructure behind the AI suggestions. Each one is bound by a written agreement and processes data only for us.

Ask us for the current list at any time and we will send it.

How long it is kept

Account and pipeline data live as long as the account does. Closing an account starts the deletion of its records, and backups age out on their own schedule shortly after.

Technical logs are kept for a short operational window and then dropped.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, take it elsewhere in a portable format, restrict how it is used, object to a given use, or have it erased.

Write to contact@salesgecko.com and we answer within a month. If our answer leaves you unsatisfied, you can raise the matter with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
